ENGINEERING FOOD SYSTEMS THAT WORK HARDER FOR YOU
At Blentech, we're more than just an equipment company—we’re a team of engineers, food scientists, and problem solvers who understand the food industry from the inside out.
From day one, we’ve focused on building processing systems that help producers do more with less: less energy, less downtime, and less waste. Our systems integrate hardware, software, and data tools to deliver real results, not just machinery.
Whether you're scaling up production, facing labor constraints, or navigating strict quality demands, we meet you where you are with durable equipment, smart automation, and practical support that makes a difference.
A Legacy Rooted in Real Production
Blentech was founded in 1986 by Darrell Horn, a mechanical engineer with a strong background in agricultural equipment design, including mechanical grape harvesters. Drawing on his deep relationships in California’s agricultural industry, Darrell initially planned to manufacture winery equipment. But recognizing greater opportunity in food processing, he shifted Blentech’s focus to creating innovative thermal processing systems.
Those early insights, combined with a drive to solve practical challenges, laid the foundation for Blentech’s continued success. With Sonoma County as our home base, we’ve grown from a small regional operation into a global leader in food manufacturing solutions, serving startups and Fortune 500 food brands alike.

WHAT WE OFFER
We’re not just building machines—we’re equipping our customers with smarter, more connected operations. With hybrid cloud platforms and IIoT-enabled systems (Industry 4.0), Blentech gives customers insight into performance and capacity, helping reduce cost, improve traceability, and scale with confidence.
- Precision cooking, mixing, chilling, and full-line automation

Backed by a team that’s been in your shoes—from California’s ranches to production floors around the world—we’re proud to design systems that last, deliver, and grow with your business.
What Makes Our Team Different
At Blentech, we know that great equipment is only part of the equation—it's the people behind it who make the difference. Our culture is built on collaboration, transparency, and an unshakable focus on customer success. We don’t just design systems; we train operators, solve problems, and stay invested in long-term outcomes.
Our Innovation Center allows customers to test, optimize, and validate processes before full-scale deployment—saving time, reducing waste, and improving results. We work with clients to refine formulations, cut energy and utility use, and improve yield.
Many of us come from food manufacturing backgrounds ourselves, and that experience shapes every interaction. We’re proud to have been named a Best Place to Work in the North Bay—because when we invest in our people, our customers win too.
We also believe leadership means showing up for the industry. Our CEO, Daniel Voit, has been recognized for his commitment to advancing food manufacturing through innovation, education, and long-term customer partnerships. We’ve also been recognized for our leadership in digital transformation, with our CTO, Keith Weerts, featured at the Inductive Automation Conference. Numerous Blentech team members have also earned industry awards for innovation, technical achievement, and contributions to food science, reflecting our culture of excellence, mentorship, and growth.
