Blentech Wins North Bay Maker Award
Blentech is proud to be the recipient of the North Bay Business Journal’s Maker Award in the category of Best Manufacturing Process Innovation.
The article, published in the North Bay Business Journal’s August 13th issue, discusses how the Blentech Innovation Center helps guide our customers’ buying decisions.
As noted by Shannon McLarty, Assistant Manager of Testing and Trials,
“Our center gives them this opportunity and reduces the learning curve, through value-added support from our integrated R&D team working closely with fabricators, system engineers and food scientists. Many are graduates from the UC Davis Food Science and Technology Department.”
As stated in the article, our CookerCloud remotely observes and collects secure data while monitoring food production performance of Blentech equipment no matter where it is located worldwide. Keith Weerts, Blentech’s Chief Digital Officer, said:
“In the future, we plan to add a way to see what operators see by using virtual reality headgear linked to our global network so we can better diagnose and resolve issues without dispatching a technician.”
